This Food Hygiene Course is designed for employees who located in Gloucester and work in food environment. It teaches essential principles of good food handling practices to anyone who is a starter in an environment where food may be prepared or stored. This Level 2 course is delivered over a 5-hour session and assists with meeting Food Safety Act of 1990; a variety of food safety/hygiene regulations including those introduced in 2006; and the Food Information for Consumers Regulation. It enables food businesses to ensure that their food handlers are trained in food hygiene and food safety in a way that is appropriate to the work they do and enables them to handle food safely and hygienically.
Course candidates will learn how to comply with the latest legislation and their legal obligation for catering training to ensure that food is prepared, cooked and handled in a safe and hygienic manner to comply with food hygiene standards.
