INFECTION CONTROL TRAINING
Infection Control training is designed to provide all Health and Social Care employees with essential knowledge about their legal obligations and responsibilities with regard to infection control and infection prevention practices within the care settings. This 3-hour course meets the learning outcomes prescribed by Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF). This course provides an accredited certificate that meets compliance requirements placed by the Health & Safety at Work (Etc.) Act of 1974, Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations, and the Care Quality Commission competence requirements placed on healthcare employers by industry standards.
The course teaches topics such as the right waste disposal practices, the importance of wearing personal protective equipment and the consequences of poor practice. Delegates will be able to learn about (and identify) the actions to take in relation to the infection control requirements within the workplace.
